Weddings and Marriage Blessings with the AICA
In Australia and England, weddings can take place almost anywhere—churches, hotels, stately homes, parks, sports grounds, private homes, or registry offices—provided witnesses are present. Most AIC parishes don’t own buildings and instead meet in community halls, scout headquarters, or members’ homes.
Arranging a Marriage Blessing
To organise a Marriage Blessing, contact your nearest AIC clergy (see Contact Us). Provide the date, time, and location well in advance, and they will help plan your special day. A donation of $400 (negotiable) to the Anglican Independent Communion Australia applies for wedding ceremonies, whether civil or religious
