Religious Orders

The Archiepiscopal Chancellery of Australia includes several Religious Orders. The Order of Saint Benedict and the Holy Order of Chi Rho are open to all, regardless of gender or church status. In contrast, the Companions of Jesus and the Venerable Order of Soldiers of Christ are exclusively for male priests, bishops, and their equivalents from non-Anglican Independent Communion denominations.

Members of all Orders are expected to dedicate time daily to personal devotion (prayer and Bible study) and regularly assist the needy in their communities. They also gather throughout the year for Holy Communion, fellowship, and sharing—without collecting offerings.
