Church Today
Why the AIC? What Has Happened to the Christian Faith?
Every day, we witness spiritual and moral decline—dwindling church attendance, rising divorce rates, increasing numbers of single mothers, and widespread abortion, with 350 unborn children lost daily. Lifelong marriage is replaced by temporary cohabitation, demands for same-sex unions grow, families break down, and drug culture thrives. There is an urgent need for spiritual revival—but where will it come from?
Mainstream Protestant churches have lost their authority, weakened by compromise and disunity. Many abandon biblical morality in favour of political correctness—altering liturgy for inclusivity, promoting multi-faith worship, ordaining women contrary to scripture, and tolerating hypocrisy among leaders. Sacraments are devalued, and even faith itself is undermined, with Christianity reduced to mere debate rather than divine truth.
In response, people are turning to the AIC, seeking unwavering spiritual leadership, moral clarity, and a return to the foundational truths of Christianity.
What is the AIC?
The Anglican Independent Communion (AIC) is a “Continuing Church,” upholding the teachings of the Church of England before it was overtaken by liberalism. We remain a Traditional Church, committed to the Holy Bible as God’s inspired Word, the Book of Common Prayer, the Ordinal, and the 39 Articles of Religion.
We uphold the two Sacraments of the Gospel—Holy Baptism, completed in Confirmation, and Holy Communion, through which Christ nourishes us with His Body and Blood. We affirm the Holy Orders of Bishops, Priests, and Deacons and, in keeping with biblical and Church tradition, believe these roles must be held by men.
Following Christ’s command, we are committed to mission and evangelism through the power of the Holy Spirit. We reject liberalism as a source of false and failing faith and stand firm in the Apostolic Faith—the faith that transformed the ancient world and remains as relevant today as ever.
The AIC has a growing network of parishes and missions in the UK, Europe, Australia, the Americas, the Caribbean, South India, and Canada.
Why Join the AIC?
The AIC offers clear, uncompromising biblical teaching and a return to the authentic Catholic faith passed down from the Apostles. Here, you will not find diluted doctrine or modernised worship but the timeless beauty of the traditional liturgy, the Book of Common Prayer, and the majestic language of the King James Bible.
Thousands are joining the AIC, recognising it as the future of Anglicanism, free from political interference and cultural compromise. Unlike the Lambeth Communion, we are not controlled by governments or influenced by social agendas—we answer only to Jesus Christ.
If you are a church considering joining us, you do not need to change your name—only to affirm your commitment to traditional Anglicanism. We support you in preaching the true Gospel, standing against liberal heresies, and upholding biblical morality. Our key principles include:
- No ordination of women to Holy Orders. You can read more here.
- No ordination or appointment of practising homosexuals to ministry.
- No teaching of pluralism or syncretism—the Gospel is the one true faith.
- Loving the sinner while rejecting sin—bringing all to salvation in Christ.
By joining the AIC, your ministry will gain visibility through our global network and website. We can also provide official recognition to help secure government approvals where needed. Additionally, we offer education programs for clergy and lay ministers, with plans for a Theological College in West Africa and Australia.
Most importantly, you will be supported by a worldwide community of faithful believers who pray for you daily. Reach out to us here.
