Stenley Djatah Vested Profile

Stenly was born in Gorontalo, North Sulawasi Province of Indonesia, married with one daughter. In 1991 he finished a diploma in Accounting from PAAP – Sam Ratulangi University, North Sulawasi. Stenly was baptized and become a Christian, studied at Seminary and graduated from Bandung Theological Seminary in 1998 with a Bachelor in Theology as well as a Masters of Arts in Theology. God sent Stenly to The Gereja Kristen Indonesia (Indonesia Christian Church in Central Java) in 1998 and was ordained as a priest in 2001. Stenly passion is to preach, teach, and pastoral care. After 9 years of shepherding His flocks, Stenly pursued a doctorate degree in Philosophy, focusing on John Locke at School of Humanities, University Sains Malaysia, Penang. Graduated with a PhD program in 2012. After prayerful consideration (when in Seminary 1996) to be an Anglican Priest accepted into the Anglican Independent Communion Australia, incardinated as Priest in 2013 and appointed as Bishop Elect in Indonesia. Stenly’s doctrinal position is Reformed. Stenly holds Calvinism teaching in Anglican Hierarchy traditions and believes in the inerrancy and supremacy of the Holy Bible and sees himself as an Anglican Reformed priest. Stenly is aware that early Anglican Church holds Reformed Doctrine as Calvinism teaching. Stenly now works as a Philosophical courses lecturer focusing on Moral Philosophy, Logic and Introduction to Philosophy at a private Christian University in Karawaci, Indonesia.
